MEET ANDREW
Scottish Photographer & Guide.
Born and raised amidst the rolling hills of Ayrshire in southwest Scotland. I’ve been connected to the outdoors since childhood – exploring woodland, rivers, and open countryside.
These days, you’ll most likely find me traversing remote corners of the Scottish Highlands with a tent on my back and camera in hand, drawn to landscapes that feel wild, quiet, and stay with me long after I've left.
When I’m not working, I’m often in a cabin or off-grid hut with my partner Georgia, reading, cooking, and enjoying the slower pace of life.
All of this feeds into how I work. My photography is narrative-driven, rooted in a deep connection to place, and focused on honest, authentic imagery.

MY APPROACH
My approach is stripped-back and intuitive. I work in a way that allows your day to unfold, stepping in with gentle direction when it helps things feel effortless and at ease.
On the day, I’m a calm and steady presence. Whether we’re in open landscapes, a rustic setting, or amongst the trees, I focus on observing real moments as they happen, while guiding you through portrait sessions in a simple and understated way.
My direction is subtle – focused on movement, connection, and ease rather than anything heavily structured.
I believe people’s stories matter. I approach each elopement or wedding with care and intention, aiming to honour what the day means to you as well as how it unfolds.
The result is story-led photography that reflects your day honestly – creating timeless imagery grounded in real connection, place, and experience.
MY BACKGROUND
My love for Scotland’s rugged landscapes and ever-changing weather has been the driving force behind a photography career spanning over a decade.
I have worked on commercial and editorial projects for brands including Talisker, Panasonic, Visit Scotland, and Columbia Sportswear, and have led guided tours across the Isle of Skye and the West Highlands with Hidden Scotland.
My work is defined by a deep appreciation for colour, light, and the natural environment, with moody, earthy tones and a strong sense of narrative throughout.
This has also led to a partnership with Panasonic Lumix.
