PRIVACY NOTICE

Your personal information will be used to manage your booking, communicate with you, and issue invoices. I store your data securely and only keep it for as long as necessary for business and legal purposes. I do not share your information with third parties except where required (e.g. for accounting). You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your data at any time.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

This agreement contains the entire understanding between Andrew Alexander Photography and The Client(s).

CONFIRMATION

A signed “Photography Contract” and payment of the booking fee are necessary to confirm the agreed services from Andrew Alexander Photography on the confirmed session date.

BOOKING & PAYMENTS

A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your date. For standard bookings, this is 30% of the total package cost, which contributes towards the preparation undertaken prior to your session date, including (but not limited to) planning, location scouting, correspondence, and potential equipment investment. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 14 days before the session date. If the Client(s) fail to make payment by this time, Andrew Alexander Photography reserves the right, at their discretion, to treat this agreement as terminated by the Client(s).

Upon receipt of the booking fee, Andrew Alexander Photography will reserve the date exclusively and decline all other enquiries for that date. As such, in the event of cancellation or postponement by the Client(s), all payments made are non-refundable, except where otherwise stated in these Terms & Conditions.

The Client(s) may cancel this contract at any time after signing by providing written notice via email to Andrew Alexander Photography (hello@elopewithandrew.scot). If cancellation notice is received more than 120 days prior to the scheduled date, Andrew Alexander Photography will refund any monies paid, excluding the non-refundable booking fee.

The Client(s) may request to reschedule the session to a new date; however, availability cannot be guaranteed. Rescheduled dates are subject to Andrew Alexander Photography’s availability and existing bookings, and the Client(s) acknowledge that they may not be prioritised over previously reserved clients.

CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING

PRE-SESSION CONSULTATION

From the date of booking until the session date, Andrew Alexander Photography shall be available to provide reasonable assistance and respond to queries from the Client(s) relating to the photography services.

PHOTOGHRAPHY STYLE & LIMITATIONS

Andrew Alexander Photography shall be granted full creative and artistic license regarding the choice of locations, poses, and editing style. The Client(s) acknowledge that they have reviewed Andrew Alexander Photography's portfolio and are engaging services with full knowledge of his overall style.

COPYRIGHT & LICENSING

Copyright of all photographs remains with Andrew Alexander Photography in accordance with the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. Andrew Alexander Photography grants the Client(s) a limited, non-exclusive licence to:

Print the photographs for personal use
Upload photographs to social media or personal websites
Share photographs with friends and family

A licence will be provided to the Client(s) as evidence of this permission. Any sale, publication, or commercial use of the photographs – including providing images to other wedding suppliers – requires prior consent from Andrew Alexander Photography.

MODEL RELEASE

The Client(s) hereby grant Andrew Alexander Photography the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use, publish, and reproduce photographs of the Client(s), or in which the Client(s) may appear, for editorial, trade, advertising, promotional, or other purposes deemed standard within the wedding industry.

Such uses may include, but are not limited to, inclusion in Andrew Alexander Photography’s portfolio, submission to awards or competitions, wedding blogs, social media, advertising, self-promotion, or any other use considered appropriate and standard within the industry.

PACKAGE CONTENTS & DELIVERY

As part of the "Birch – The Adventure" session purchased by the Client(s), Andrew Alexander Photography agrees to deliver the following:

100+ Hand-crafted photographs
Private online gallery
1 Tree planted in the Scottish Highlands (e-mail certificate)

The complete package will be delivered within 2-4 weeks of the session date, with 5 sneak-peek images available within 48 hours. The Client(s) acknowledge that responsibility for preserving the contents of the package, including downloading and backing up digital files, passes to the Client(s) upon delivery. Andrew Alexander Photography may, at their discretion, retain a complete digital copy for 12 months from the delivery date, after which retention is not guaranteed.

PHOTOGRAPHER ILLNESS & REPLACEMENT

In the event that Andrew Alexander Photography is unable to provide the agreed photography services due to illness, injury, or other unforeseen circumstances, Andrew Alexander Photography will make reasonable efforts to secure a suitable replacement photographer. In such circumstances, this contract may be transferred to the replacement photographer.

If a suitable replacement photographer cannot be secured, liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid by the Client(s), including the booking fee, and no further liability shall be accepted.

PUBLIC LIABILITY

Andrew Alexander Photography has public liability cover up to the value of 5 million pounds. A copy of the policy can be made available to The Client(s) if necessary.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

This contract constitutes the entire agreement between the Client(s) and Andrew Alexander Photography. In the event of any dispute arising from or relating to this contract, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through conciliation or informal discussion before pursuing any other action.

By signing or completing this agreement, the Client(s) acknowledge that they are entering into a legally binding contract and are encouraged to read these Terms and Conditions carefully.
